Maple cotton Candy old fashioned
The old fashioned is a classic. A couple of substitutions add a bit of festive flair, kick up the fall flavor profile, and punch up the sweetness factor for the adults enjoying treats on Halloween night.
Ingredient List
1.5 fluid ounces (or 44.36 milliliter) good quality bourbon whiskey
.35 ounces (or 10 grams) by weight maple flavored cotton candy
6-8 drops cocktail bitters (keep it classic with orange or try something spiced)
1 large ice cube
Extra cotton candy for garnish
Instructions
Start by adding one large ice cube to a rocks glass. Top with maple flavored cotton candy. Pour bourbon over the cotton candy to melt it. Stir to chill and incorporate the sugar from the cotton candy. Add 6-8 drops of cocktail bitters on top. Garnish with an additional piece of cotton candy. Imbibe responsibly.
